just for fun… Christmas coffee

I love it when Starbuck’s Christmas Blend starts to arrive in the stores!

It is one of my favorite flavors – dark and bold – and the tradition brings security to my uncertain world. It reminds me that many things in life will change, but some things (thankfully) stay the same. Each year the flavor returns, like the special season it represents… ahhhh… and it is well with my soul! 🙂

What are some of your favorite traditions?

    • Love those traditions – we have no “schedule” for putting up the tree, but always enjoy the process and love going out to look at lights… Here in Albq, I especially enjoy going to “Old Town” and walking among the lumanarias. 🙂

  2. I love going to La Placita in Old Town for dinner and sitting by their Christmas tree. Then walking around Old Town and window shopping-stopping in The Christmas Shop and MAYBE buying a new ornament.

  3. Love to share “Christmas blend” with my mentor and friend Tere! One of my traditions. . listening to the “Messiah” with a great cup of coffee at night alone in my living room with only the Christmas tree lights on. . .reflecting over the blessings of the year. . .and the greatness of Christ. Letting God speak to my heart.

  4. Well … I can argue with great coffee, but for me my tradition of the season is my Little Village. I started to collect lemax houses about 8 years ago, and when to a couples of houses to pretty big and nice village. Every year I try to add new items either houses or accessories and what has become more fun is the construction of items, like the pond and bridge that I did this year.
